There is def a method to the left's madness - they've been at this for decades - IDK enough to know if what they are doing is just misguided ideology, or a purposeful attempt to bring down America one piece at a time - America is the holy-grail for the international-left - if America falls then the left sees being able to take over a good chunk of the world and implementing leftist governments worldwide w/o a strong democratic free-market America standing in their way.

It is, as Papi mused, a 100% intentional act by the leftist elites to destroy America; however, these are not your run-of-the-mill Washington DC elites. It is a far more dangerous breed - the Globalist Elites. Soros, Xi, Jack Ma, Apple, Bill Gates, the Obamas, the Clintons, Bezos, and so many more that we have not heard of are all working to destroy the United States of America. Why is that? Because we are not only the most powerful country in the world, we are also the most patriotic, the most proud of our heritage, a country which prized individual strength, family bonds, and personal freedoms more than any other. Or at least we were. That is why the 1619 Project, Critical Race Theory, Defund the Police, and every single effort to deprive us of our second amendment rights are all mission critical goals for the Democrat party and the leftist media. If they can take away our collective pride, our national identity, and as our founding fathers so eloquently pledged, "our fortunes, our lives, and our sacred honor," then our country will continue to fracture until it can no longer function as the bulwark of self-government. The Globalists need America to be weak and diminished to continue to build their fortunes and their intercontinental empires at everyone else's expense.

I struggle with this too. I sometimes think these leftist radicals actually believe that idiocy like Defund The Police and Critical Race Theory will (in their misguided view) make the world better but TBH the more and more I see, the more I resign myself to the belief that these globalists truly do want America to fail for their global schemes to be fully realized and the Marxist filth they're peddling is part of their intentional plan to achieve it.

It is getting very hard to watch. Everything from TV commercials, Netflix shows, news media, sports, gov't policies, the military, previously universally celebrated holidays (e.g. July 4th) etc. all being infiltrated and destroyed with the most revolting, stupid and obviously divisive garbage one could imagine.

At least the Bolsheviks were legitimately oppressed before they revolted and established socialism as an attempt to better their condition. In today's America, people of any color have more freedom and more opportunity to succeed (or even be a bum and let government support them if they choose) than any time or any place in the history of the world. And yet they've allowed themselves to be convinced the USA sucks so bad we need radical change to a system that will guarantee them a life of oppression and modern-day serfdom.

If they really wanted global peace and prosperity, they would be using their fortunes to preserve the Amazon while bulding sustainable communities in South America, to stop the narcowars and build schools and jobs training in Mexico, combat Ebola and genocide in Africa, and so on. Instead they're buying elected officials and stealing elections in the country that is the last, best hope for the future.
