Why Do Women Go Into Stripping? (VIP Edition)

Not surprisingly, it went south at a certain point, because it's the Front Room.
So, without creating any initial assumptions, I'll ask that the dancers post here about how they got into dancing and keeps them dancing. We all know that money is a huge factor, but I think we'd all be curious to hear about the level B, C, and D reasons to go along with the "A" reason (cash).
And I get it that a bunch of customers will jump in with their opinions; that's a given. But I'm more interested to hear from dancers and former dancers. This could be interesting or a total flop; I guess I'll be the first to find out.

"...and *what* keeps them dancing."
E. Work where they can party, drink, or smoke weed.
F. Flexibility, they can pick up extra shifts to make more...wait for it...money.
G. it is work where you do not need years of training and an advanced degree to make decent money?
I posted here because more dancers have been active in here than in the Verified forum, because (I believe) that all dancers have access to the VIP forum, whereas considerably fewer have gone through the verification process.
Hence, me noting in the top post that this could be a flop.
I had kicked the idea back and fourth for several years and even bought a course online about 1-2 years before actually taking the plunge 5 years ago. Then when a friend from high school started dancing, I followed her into the club she worked at and did a shift together.
Thanks to a Barbara Sher, I figured out a couple of months ago that I am a “scanner”—I have too many interests in life and it’s tough to be tied down to one thing.

Dancing is *just* varied enough to be what is considered a “good enough” job to consistently stick with. And when I get bored with one club, I go to another one to refresh.
Thanks, Spice.
After that, she started posting that she was taking pole classes for exercise (along with another waitress at the same place).
I also know that waitress. She turned me on the the Mousy girl's OTHER Instagram. She was now a stripper at a popular non-extras club.
A few months ago she came into that lunch place. We ended up sharing a table. The other waitress came by and mentioned she had shown me the stripper Instagram. So of course that is what we discussed. I told her I sometimes went to clubs but not that one. She told me to come where she worked so she could "grind all over you and feed you nipple" - her words. (It is just a little weird, so I have not gone yet).
The reason for posting this is that we did talk about "why?" and her reasons (in order of how she presented them):
1. Got off on the exhibitionist aspect.
2. Loved working at night and the freedom and energy.
3. It was better money but not getting rich.
4. THIS ONE: She picked up lots of cute young guys.
Not long after that, she added an onlyfans link. I recently subscribed. Lots of premium cost videos of XXX sex with different guys (in one two guys) hitting all three holes.
I'm wondering if Follies was still around if she would have ended up there :-)
So in 2 years plus, she went from waitress to stripper to DIY porn actress.
There's a lot she doesn't miss but at the risk of using an overused term she found it empowering to take her clothes off on stage.
But yeah money is why she dragged her ass to work and I would sometimes have to give her pep talks.
To not derail this thread and in my case...
I guess it is the freedom and potential to make fast money (well fast for people without serious qualifications/experience on paper w/e)
Imo for girls who don't like to put up with bullshit or the extreme groping that is normal in most places... If they wanna keep going this shit long term and as their only income I'd say traveling to turn and burn constantly is the way to go. Or perhaps finding some decent club with customer turnover where ya don't have to rely on repeat biz if you don't wanna.
I myself have tapered the dancing down to like 4-10 hrs a week on average cuz fuck this shit anymore LOL. Now if I was in the position I could start freely traveling from place to place again whenever I want... idk it might be more enjoyable then...
When I graduated from high school it was something a lot of girls did on the side or as a main job for that reason.
Now I'm seeing girls do it coz their sister or cousins did it.
But I'm also seeing a lot of stupidity. Girls acting like they're celebrities coz they shook their ass in a rappers section or they have a lot of ig or tiktok followers. But reality hits a little when 100k ig followers equates to 100 of subscribers.
