Indianapolis has gone from about one percent Hispanic twenty years ago to over ten percent now. One of the local clubs, Harem House, closed during the COVID lockdown and never reopened. There is now a rumor that it will reopen as a Hispanic strip club. We've had a few black clubs here but never a Hispanic one. Are there any cities with mostly regular strip clubs that also have a specifically Hispanic one? If there are, what are they like and are customers who aren't Hispanic welcome there?
Austin, TX has one or two clubs that cater primarily to latinos. But bunches of other clubs in South and Central Texas have a large contingent of dancers who speak almost exclusively in Spanish. A phone translator and money is enough to get by. Other customers are what you need to pay attention to if you're not looking like the crowd. The only time I've really kept track of who was paying attention to me is the couple of times I ended up in biker bars that also happened to have strippers. And then there was the time I thought Russian gangsters might disappear me at a club, but it was a misunderstanding that a local cabbie smoothed over.
I’ve been at some predominantly Hispanic clubs before. It should be completely fine as a white guy. Most likely dayshift will have some more white customers if you’re concerned. If by “Hispanic” you mean Cuban, then be prepared to have to stand your ground on things more often. (Would Cubanas go that far north?) If Mexican, probably more relaxed.
Mexican customers ime are fast decision makers and also a grabby set of customers. And they tend to not give a hoot about anything. Trying to get a floor dance in a club where lapdances take place way obviously out in the open in the main room on a bench against the wall? Nope don’t care, may try to pull their dick out anyways. (Most don’t, but when a customer does do that, they are def most likely Mexican)
The pace might be faster, but the mileage might be slightly higher for basic dances would be my guess? Idk really about Indianapolis to have a way to compare things.
If this Latina uptick is a recent phenomenon then decent chance it could be a bit of a Cuban invasion - the Cubanas seem to be spreading more-and-more
The only way you may have a problem if it's a low-end dive w/ lowlife clientele but this would be an issue no-matter the ethnicity of the club - w.r.t. Cuban-dancers, they prefer gringos as they seem then as easier to hustle - if they are Cubanas they tend to be pretty-aggressive salespersons that don't take no for an answer when trying to close the sale.
If anything pick an off-peak-night to visit vs a busy weekend night to get a feel for the place(s).
Club 7557 was a place in pre-pandemic Van Nuys (north of LA in the San Fernando Valley) that was almost exclusively Hispanic dancers and customers. It wasn't unusual to see a few white guys (like me) in there at any time, usually alone, amongst the 20-40 Hispanic other guests. The club was known for loud Mexican music (ala TJ), cheap beers and cheaper (10$), non-nude, hands-off dances on a long shared sofa seating area. You might be able to cop a feel over a bikini top from time to time, but that was the limit. There were always one or two rather bulky bouncers walking the dance area and actually enforcing the "keep your hands by your side" rules. This was definitely a locals hang out spot for you and your hermano's. I was never offered a phone number, let alone hints at possible OTC.
I think it closed fairly early into the pandemic, maybe around June, 2020. The external signs came down a few months later. I believe the building is still empty.
I’ve been to clubs names Chicas locos or similar in Dallas, Austin, Houston and it seems dozen other cities. There is one in Las Vegas. They are all primarily Latino and usually higher mileage clubs. They seem to have nothing in common otherwise except the name and ethnicity.
Yeah your gonna be welcome there. The music is that distinguishable mexican music that all sounds the same. But is that any worse than what most American clubs play. But it’s interesting to me that all 5 Latinas in Indianapolis decided to form a strip club, good for them.
I hope that's true, it would be nice to finally have one this far north.
Cubans pretty much all run the same hustle, but if they're hot and you have the money, you'll have fun, so nothing wrong with that I guess.
I like Mexican and Central American girls who are semi-Americanized. Colombian girls are warmer than the Cubans but I've never really had an ATF type connection with one.
Pleasant Moments Bridgeport. You get some smoking hotties (mostly Dominican and Colombian, occasional Cuban thrown in) and $60 extras (though in a glorified phone booth).
But you gotta drive to a rough part of a rough city. Seen a couple brawls, and a few guys selling weed outside. History of pimping busts, and vans dropping off 5 girls at once. If you don't speak at least passable Spanish, your conversation will be limited to "to the back?"
@ICEE, I don't mind the occasional sleaze, but BPT tests my limits.
Colombians overall the hottest there, they seem to keep their looks longest. I'm told some of the Dominicans have gone past curves over COVID and now have rolls.
Colombians can be gorgeous. I don't like Colombian strippers though. I know girls with Colombian friends and have been around them. They're the biggest scammers I've ever seen. And they're very good at it. I don't mind a girl being a hoe. But scammers are low.
I think Colombian women are hot (often have the bod/curves and the face) - and I've found them friendly and down-to-earth although I rarely run into Colombians even downhere in SoFlo.
Dominicans I've had more-issues w/ and IME have more-bad-attitudes - but I also don't run into many of them in SoFlo.
In my experience Hispanic club don't discriminate. Honestly no minority clubs do from what I've seen, if you're talking about getting turned away at the door.
Rule of thumb is to mind your GD business inside and leave the seedier clubs before midnight.
I went to a SC in Indy right before COVID. No hispanics there though.
Colombians as a people are great. Very down to earth and genuinely friendly I've. I just don't like their strippers.
Latino clubs are usually shit. Girls get abused by management especially if they don't have documents or are under age. Lots of pimps drugs gangs. If you're not familiar or not intimidating just be careful.
@ wallanon I haven't visited a lot of the Austin strip clubs in a few years. But I remember "Landing Strip", "Ricks", "Sugars", "Expose" and of course "Chicas", all being Mexican clubs with dancers with minimum English vocabulary. I think that's half of the strip clubs in Austin.
Harem House reopened as Jaguars. From their social media it looks like they’re under Deja Vu, but I saw an old article saying the Jaguars chain was bought out by Rick’s?
Anyway, it doesn’t look like a Latino club at all.
I’ve been to some clubs in the Paterson NJ area that appear to be largely Latino clubs. I’ve never had an issue in those clubs. I’ve never known the origin of the women by their look or their language - as I’m not very knowledgeable of Spanish accents.
There are some seedy locations, but Paterson strip clubs aren’t going to be in upscale neighborhoods. I have not found that to be an issue.
In Atlanta after Follies closed most of the Cubans moved to the Club Platinum but in the last month or so their numbers have dramatically increased at Vivide during day shift. I've tried 2 of them in the last couple of weeks and beside their lack of English they both had the hardest breast implants that I have ever felt. So bad that I had to stop them after just one dance.
25 Years ago or so the only city I have ever had a issue in was Memphis.
Got stuck there for a week for work. Three clubs in the area of the hotel. I decide to go to the furthest one and work my way back towards the hotel.
About 8pm or so I get to the first stop, go in, not many customers and order a beer. The bartender kind of side eyes me and gives me my beer and asks where I'm from. Tell him Ohio, he says Memphis is not like Ohio. Says the beer is on him and to drink it and get out before the place starts to fill up. Confused I ask why. He says that it's a black club and I should not be there later in the night. He goes on to tell me that the next place on my list is a Hispanic club and I'd not be welcomed there either and I should make my way to the last planned stop since it is the white club.
Seems at the time the folks used the unwritten rule of self segregation. Hope it has changed because the women at the first club were much better looking than the last place.
Other than that.. in 40 years never had a problem in any city, in any club regardless of the customer mix. But after working in nightclubs for years, I am also very aware of my surroundings. Also, I'm selective in the neighborhoods I'll visit when I'm unfamiliar city.
I've been in a (non-border-town) strip club in Mexico. The number of rude customers, and how rude they were, seemed comparable to a US club. The two dancers I got dances from seemed to have boundaries and be self-respecting similar to the typical US stripper.

Cubans will become passive and flirty if they think you're attractive. Otherwise they're too pushy and cold.
Mexican and Central American women depend on their level of americanization.
With customers giving the club a vibe it depends on if they're hood. Paisa. Etc. In either case alcohol leads to fights

The girls will work in the club for less money, if they are going to be getting lots of outside money.
