A Monday night in Tampa's Boobmuda Triangle

With some free time on my hands and a surplus of lockdown savings in my pocket I flew off to make my first-ever visit to Tampa for 3 nights. Last night was my first night in town and I decided to go to the cluster of 2001 Odyssey/Mons Venus/Scores, all which are located within about a block of each other. Odyssey was my first stop at about 6:30 just as day shift was ending. Met a pair of MILFy dancers were great fun to talk to and gave some aggressive dances in the Launch Pad area (no extras asked for or offered). Stuck around for a bit more to stage tip some of the other incoming night shift girls. I received a wristband for free re-entry all night and I decided to take advantage of that by going next door to Riveters for a meal and some adult beverages.
About 9:30 I made my way across the street for my first-ever visit to the renowned Mons Venus. Even factoring in it being a Monday, I was stunned by how under-peforming the experience was. There were only 3 dancers on shift and one was very green, or just very bad, based on how awkward she moved on stage. No DJ on duty so dancers had to punch in their musical selections on a jukebox. But they all seemed to be confused on how it worked, which led to several lulls of no music in the house. A strip club without music is very sad. You could actually hear the hand dryers blowing in the men's room. Initially I thought there must be more girls in the back but no, there weren't. They were kind of doing three-song sets on stage but they seemed to be confused about that as well. Stuck around for 2.5 laps of stage shows. There were maybe a half dozen other customers coming and going during that time. Also strange, the Tampa Bay Lightning had a playoff game that night. Mons was the only place not showing it on TV and I have to think that was a disincentive to locals turning out. I bailed without ever talking to a dancer about private dance options.
Just a couple doors east is Scores. This place had tons of gorgeous girls dancing but very few customers. And these girls love to twerk. After sitting back to get a lay of the land I tried stage tipping the girls who I really enjoyed, but really got no reaction from them at all. One almost didn't even take my tip when her set was finished. The DJ was hyping "make it rain," and the few who did that got virtually no dancer attention as well. None approached to chat or ask for a dance. I honestly don't know what the costs and dance options were. But there was quite a gaggle of dancers sitting and chatting at the back bar oblivious to the fact I had $100s in my pocket ready to spend. Ditched that place when I was out of ones.
I headed back to 2001 around 11-ish and the place was jamming with customers and dancers. Girls were actively making the rounds, sparking conversations that usually turned into seductive sales pitches. They might have been just a notch lower in the looks department than the other two clubs, but they were working it and doing some amazing stage routines. Met a Danish dancer, Roxy, who was so sweet, funny and gorgeous that we ended up in the spaceship for a half hour of mutual pleasure.
My night purposefully started at 2001 Odyssey based on the reviews I had read that made me think this was "show" of the three horse racing between these clubs. But on this unusual Monday night, it was the win. Full reviews on 2001 and Mons to come soon. Not sure if my Scores visit was complete enough to offer up a review.

at Mons (pre-COVID), even the dayshift was packed with gorgeous, hungry dancers.
Go to Diamond Dolls in Clearwater.
