Pled guilty to drinking 2 shots of tequila. $500 fine. All other charges dropped. Considering his BAC was .02 and the legal limit was .08, it’s a fair outcome. Sounds like it was handled with class by lawyers, judge and Springsteen.

^ Why would you say that he had a BAC of .02 what needs to be covered up, that's ridiculous .

Dirty bitch is besties with Obama. If they didn't let him off there would be "peaceful protests" erupting, as if by magic.

He was driving reckless after only two shots of tequila and a .02? He is not a boss. His nickname should be The Pussy.

He wasn't driving reckless. The officer saw him take the shots and then fire up his bike. If he was driving reckless even with .02bac in most states they could have made the dui charge stick. Most states have .08 as an automatic dui threshold but will still prosecute the dui at lower bac if you are driving reckless or fail the field sobriety since you are still impaired even with under .08 based on your driving errors or failed field sobriety test. In this case he passed the field sobriety test, was not seen driving recklessly and was only .02 so I think the fine for drinking in a closed park is the right outcome. Love his music - hate his politics.

I don't care for The Boss at all, including his music and politics. With that out of the way, this arrest and media coverage about it was a bunch of bullshit. The guy takes a shot or two of tequila and gets arrested for dui, and subsequently tests well below the legal limit. The prosecutor should have dismissed all charges and issued an apology. Since he technically consumed alcohol in an area where he shouldn't have, he gets fined and embarrassed over nothing.
