A friend of mine told me of these type of “hotels” from long time ago, before the Internet, instead of a lineup they would bring a book/binder with pictures of the girls available and he would choose. And the girl will be sent to his room.
Some of these may be still in operation, but with the Internet most girls can advertise directly and eliminate the middle man, just like in America.

This is correct, at least it was a few years ago. I have never participated but have known people that have. I know there used to be strip clubs in Cancun with similar accommodations to Tijuana as well.
