Anyone want to host a pro football team?

It looks like the San Francisco 49ers will not be able to travel, practice or play a game in their home county of Santa Clara. The county announced today that all contact sports will be prohibited for the next 3 weeks. Also, anyone traveling more than 150 miles will be required to quarantine for 14 days. [view link]

Isn't there an empty stadium in Oakland ?

Yes there is. However, if it is like the empty stadium in San Diego, the government entity that was responsible for maintenance has stopped allocating funds for upkeep. So, it would take some time and funding to get it ready to use again. On the bright side, maybe some of the rats that have taken over residence are large enough to throw some pads and a helmet on and start them at linebacker.

Since the order states that “All recreational activities that involve physical contact or close proximity to persons outside one’s household, including all contact sports, will be temporarily prohibited,” I assume lap dances are out of the question in Santa Clara county for a while. Are you even allowed to have sex with someone you don't live with since it is an "activity that involve physical contact or close proximity to persons outside one’s household?"

49ers season was already on life support. They will likely play out the remainder calling Alameda County home in the Oakland Colieum or Berkeley's Memorial Stadium. Oracle Park is no longer an option for football after the renovations completed over the last year.

It's a crazy season, Denver was forced to play the game yesterday without a QB.

Here in Cincinnati we would love to host a Professional Football team but we are stuck with the Bengals.

Can't. Our high school foot ball team is using the field.
