Why do we tolerate such a corrupt, undemocratic, exploitive, elite-dominated system?

The current system exists because the majority of participants failed. We have and chose not to exercise our collective power.
Something along the lines of the fact i cant singlehandedly whittle out a device that will safely transport me at 80 mph in comfort with diagnostic capabilities and a readily available road system and source of fuel so i can buy whatever i want whenever i want using somw thing that represents the value of the goods and aervices
