Google pushing Joe Biden's record down the memory hole

Try this yourself

Go to www.google.com and enter the following text: Joe Biden Plag

The predictive search doesn't show anything about the plagiarism scandal that forced him to drop out of the race for President in 1988.

Now try the same thing on www.bing.com and you will find predictive searches include the plagiarism scandal.

Note: Two things - Google's predictive terms for "Joe Biden Plag" are all "Joe Biden Flag" related.

But if you do a search on Google or Bing on Joe Biden Plagiarism, apparently old habits die hard. He plagiarized a Canadian politician and the UN website for his acceptance speech at the DNC last week.

I've def been noticing this - Google is def censoring in favor of the Dems by blocking posts critical of the Dems and big-time-blocking many conservative posts/webpages - I've stopped using Google and even Chrome

I never use Chrome because I like the idea of limiting how much of my data any company has visibility into. (I don't use Gmail either)

    But I do use Google.

I need to start trying duckduckgo.com out

fyi - duckduckgo.com does do proper predictive search with the Joe Biden Plag example - it even has suggestions for the plagiarism this year as opposed to just the better known case in 1987.

Google is a global company which seeks worlwide monopoly and suppression of competitors. Of course, they support the party that seeks to weaken the United States as a sovereign country, provide support to populous nations with unscrupulous governments (India, China, Russia), use net neutrality to suppress innovation and expansion, and wreck the economy so that fewer startups can be created to provide choice and competition.

"don't be evil." Typical liberal hypocrisy.

Just googled joe biden plagiarizer and everything came up, including the fact he dropped out of the race in 1988 when he admitted he did it and that he lied about his academic record. Democrats 32 years ago found him unworthy and have fallen so far he's the best of them. Name his greatest legislation.

Skibum - stop typing after the G in plagiarism - look at the suggested results. The search engine works with a complete query, but they are guiding people down a different path with the predicted search terms.

I always type out the full search as habit. Google is progressive and as such inherently untrustworthy.

That’s kind of the point of this thread - demonstrating their bias.

Also, instead of saying “progressive”, I prefer “fucking liberal”. Why ruin what used to be a perfectly good word by changing the meaning?

Because now liberals will not tell you they are liberal, they will instead say the are progressive or socialists. In the same vein, communists will not tell you they are communist, instead they will claim to be socialist or progressive. The problem with the democrat party and their gaggle of useful idiots is that their moderate wing are weak and impotent guilty liberals, and the rest are fucking communists.

I just switched my search tool thanks to this. Shame on Google. Info should be info, let the people decide.

Also, a decent, articulate, and moderate liberal would crush Trump like Reagan did to Mondale but Trump has turned the establishment upside down and made them so blind with hatred and rage they cant think straight.

@Pistola - good to hear. I changed the default search engine on all my browsers on all my machines to DuckDuckGo last night. I'm going to give it a try for a week or so and see if it is a worthwhile substitute.

"... Speaking to Google employees a few days after the 2016 election, Google VP for Global Affairs Kent Walker assured the company that despite Trump’s election, history was “on [their] side” but that they must work to ensure that “populism [and] nationalism” around the world is nothing more than a “blip” and a “hiccup” in the march towards progress ..."

Basically - Google must work to silence those Google does not agree with - Google basically sees itself as a political-arm and it shouldn't be a stretch it would use, and has used, its resources to further its progressive political agenda.
