Apple is shifting much of its manufacturing from China to India. They expect 55,000 new Apple jobs in India within the year. They will assemble iPhones, Macs, and iPads. Apple suppliers are also moving to India.
The recent Trump ban on TikTok and Wechat may require Apple to remove them from the App Store. It’s estimated this will cut worldwide iPhone sales by 30%, mainly because wechat is so popular in parts of the world.

Five years ago, most companies thought they could do business with China. Their eyes have been opened. Now, all companies are looking for an exit strategy. Problem is, their assets and money are stuck in China. No way to get them out.
Also, in India there is rule of law. If a business makes a profit, it keeps it. In China, currency restrictions make it impossible to move your profits out of the country. What’s the point of selling phones for a profit if you aren’t allowed to take the profits ?
That's not going to happen because thankfully China has showed it's true colors too soon.
Also, China is still a relatively poor country because even if they had 500 million middle class that would still leave them with a billion poor people. And those people aren't American style "poor" they're actually in bad shape.
I'm given up predicting what he is going to do, but I would be surprised if he re-opens bars then. All of the corona virus metrics are improving, but given that they all started improving exactly two weeks after he shut down the bars, it's pretty easy to guess what the catalyst was.
We have actually had two days in a row with well under 1,000 new cases. Granted, that is based on people who were tested on Saturday and Sunday, but still, the numbers are undeniably better than they were a month ago.
The question is "Does Ducey want to risk going back to where we were when the virus is still active in the community?"
I’m thinking the ban on bars, concerts, and so on will continue until an effective vaccine is available. I wonder if any politician will ever explain their reasoning on CoVid.
