Post COVID club collusion

In reviewing post COVID reviews and from my personal experiences in two local clubs, I'm wondering if there was some national collusion on the part of club owners during the days of lockdown.

It seems to be the new normal that regular table-side or standard one-song dances are either now air dances or not offered at all. To get any level of contact at most places you now have to go to higher priced options.

Not that we need any more conspiracy theories these days, but something about this smells fishy to me (sorry, I couldn't help it).

Yeah - could be the clubs are milking it - but if one wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, it could be that contact-dances cannot be given in plain-view b/c of Covid contact-rules - and the fact they are taking the chance breaking the rules may give them reason for charging a premium?

i've gotten to know quite a few club owners / managers. i'd say the odds that these guys can coordinate and draw up a scheme like that at the national level is 0.

Contact dances come with risks of some type from local or state government in most areas right now. That means clubs can't have contact dances out in the open without possible consequences but as long as they are hidden away in vip it is lower risk. The same idea as to why most clubs don't allow extras out in the open but turn a blind eye to them behind the vip curtain.

Agree with Fuds. Borrowing ideas, maybe. Widespread coordination beyond individual franchises? Don't see that happening.

Some of you are inflating the role of LE and local ordinances. It's all about money. Clubs are gonna milk this.

Businesses in general have a new trend. Raise prices and blame it on the pandemic. Offer worse products and services in return. Try to create a false illusion of perceived safety
