Yeah long time companies are rushing to change their product names and packaging in their attempts to show they aren't racist: Cream of Wheat, Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben's, etc. It's funny and sad at the same time.

They could just shorten their name to Dix, but I can imagine why that would be counterproductive.

I was surprised to read the news about the Dixie Chicks - as I didn’t think they were still together. Maybe changing their name is an attempt to seem relevant?
