Approving Reviews. When a review has too many words,

Do you read it all and approve or just approve?

I mean. I dont care about the bartender, waitress, parking valet.

I just approve them.

For me, if it’s wordy, I appreciate paragraphs and breaks between them. Make some easier to read. There are actually some directions on reviews being wordy in the text box before you start. People seem to ignore this at times.

But I usually just approve reviews for clubs in my area. Those outside of my region I’ll just scroll past if they are lengthy. But a 2-5 line review? Rejected.

I appreciate a wordy well-written review, especially for a place to which I have not yet been. It helps me decide whether or not I should. I try to make my reviews helpful for that reason as well and I think that is the premise of this site, isn't it??

I write long reviews sometimes, though I think useful ones that people generally enjoy reading.

And I fucking hate it when someone chooses not to read it and rejects it for being too long. I'll hold a grudge for that shit. It takes some serious time to write and edit a long review.
