At this point I guess something is better than nothing but if I was still mongering I would avoid Vegas as it seems overrated and overpriced (pre Corona virus).

For me Vegas was more fun for the things you can do (Casinos, shows, sports, eventos) than to Monger.

Of course, the local Vegas TUSCLers should know the best spots for high mileage and extras but overall it seems overrated.

Vegas began as a mob-run adult playground, primarily for visitors from LA. Then, it went corporate, cleaning up its image to become a national gambling destination. Over the last 20 years, it reinvented itself as a family friendly entertainment destination. To survive under a more social distancing world, Vegas will need to reinvent itself again. They already had too many hotel rooms to fill and too much competition from Indian casinos. Now, people don’t want to get on airplanes. A vaccine will help, but many will still choose to vacation nearer home.

My understanding is Vegas is one of the worst cities to monger in. Some of our hotter San Diego girls will go up there periodically and charge twice as much for the same action. It's interesting because even though the competition apparently is more fierce there (lots of 8s and 9s) the demand is (was) high enough to make it a seller's market

@desertscrub has a very valid point. Vegas is for casino action only. Table games, loose slots and looser casino girls.

I love to go to Vegas. But don't go to clubs, you will get no mileage or it's going to cost you through the roof (I speak from dumb experience). Yes, the girls can be beautiful, but there's other ways to get good Vegas action.

In my opinion, Vegas is the perfect town for SA. Huge supply of gorgeous women, probably very little demand the next few months. Pricing shouldn't be too bad for a while at least. I may go to Vegas myself in July or August to test my theory. I've had SA success in Vegas in the past.

Plus there's always the hotel girls that show up after midnight. It will be very interesting if the casino's are going to be more aggressive in not letting them in now, or if we're back to normal pretty quickly.

Keeping with the theme, whenever my buddies ask me about the sex biz in Vegas, I always tell them that Vegas is an awesome city NOT to SC or escort in. Waaaaaay too expensive for too little, at least if you're not an insider. Only exception for me, I meet some buddies once a year in Vegas, and we do an SC night while there; but this is more of a "woooo Vegas! Strippers!" trip than a bona fide PL trip

Agree. Too much $$ for too little SC. I do like Chicas Bonitas... its a dive way out north vegas. Did an OTC once
Im thinking about going for an extended weekend ... pool, food, club but more like mid June. Im thinking about driving vs flying option

I drive out to Vegas twice a month on average and only go to clubs if someone in the group has never been.
I have experienced the casino girls (arrive in hotel bar areas after midnight) to be the way to manage the stress. You can usually find plenty of 7/9's without the GPS of the stripclub girls.

Love Vegas! The SCs are not the best part tho, it's just a party 24/7 when I am there and that's the best part. Drinking, gambling, strippers, whatever you want, all the time. Wake up and do it all again.

They are pushing the social distancing hard in casinos, <a href="https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/cache… poker won't have more than 4 players and a dealer</a>. Table games won't have more than 3 players and I'm sure Craps and Roulette will be sparse for the players too.

Is vegas normally not worth it? Is it too much of a tourist trap like down in Tampa?
Still considering options for a December trip. I want to do Miami but still looking cause I got a 500 dollar airbnb credit.

Vegas was dead 3 weeks before the shutdown. The only hotels to open are Caesar's palace flamingo bellagio and new York new York. No bars no clubs. Strip clubs won't be open.

And vegas Strip clubs are great. Ive had a lot of luck picking up stripper hoes. Not p4p . hookers are cheap though unless you're an obvious mark

I had a great time in Vegas for a number of years. The only bad thing... it’s just so damn expensive.

I bet they won't get rid of the resort fees even with all this going on now.

The resort fees will now be for services not available so they should be cancelled but most likely won't. Restaurant prices and gaming limits will go up. So its gonna be about price gouging the few tourists who do show up

There are lots of very inexpensive places in Vegas if you do a little research. Just not Bellagio etc. the actual announced date for opening the casinos and other services is June 4. Not sure if that includes all bars, clubs, etc. but definitely casinos.

Btw strip casinos are advertising significantly lower priced deals, no parking fees, reduced or eliminated resort fees, etc to get people to return.

It's not all casinos. On the strip its just new York new York flamingo bellagio caesars palace and one tower of ghe venetian and Wynn. Bars and clubs aren't included.

I was in Vegas last Sept to work for a week. (actual work, in an office, not a conference).
Had a different date from SA every night except one when I decided to try Chica Bonita. Some were good, some were just OK. All wanted less than I spent in 2 hours at Chica Bonita.
Stayed just off the strip at a holiday inn, not a great place be easy to get in and out, no 5 mile hike to parking. Met all the girls restaurant just off strip (forget the name, huge outdoor mall, tap house, game room, guitar center are there, just past the Vegas sign by the back of the airport) within a 3 minutes drive back to the hotel.
Strip clubs there are geared to customers who never go to strip clubs, except when in Vegas... Like everything else in that town they make there money getting you all excited about something that's not going to happen.

Like any strip club you get treated the way you come across

You were at Town Square. Nevada officially has the highest unemployment in the nation from reading today’s news. Even after they attempt to open the casinos supposedly in June, I doubt it will make much of a dent in the unemployment rate. I fear for the future of my city and state.

Vegas is all about social interaction. Billions of dollars of clubs and hotels built around social interaction. Air travel enables this social interaction.

The new normal, though impossible to predict, will certainly put limits on social interaction in the name of health. I don’t know whether Las Vegas will survive as an entertainment hub, but It is facing one helluva a headwind.

Maybe someone much cleverer than me can invent a business model that allows Vegas to thrive in this new environment. It’s beyond me.

@IceyLoco @Mark94 totally agree with the whole interaction aspect of Vegas. I’ve had some of my most fun experiences in Vegas, albeit not necessarily at a SC.
But im dying to get outta da house. Chill pool side with drinks coming, checking out the talent, then a lil blackjack, craps. Have an awesome steak then club, if not able to pick up at club finish late night/early morning at a SC.
Sounds awesome!

@greanbeans

Yes, Vegas (pre Covid) was fun for everything except mongering (though the local mongers seem to know how to have fun at a reasonable price).

I liked to say to my buddies about Vegas and threesomes: twice the price for half the fun.

I fear that Post Covid Vegas will be twice the price for no fun.

If you want hookers vegas has cheap ones. A lot of strippers with pimps work tye strip on slow nights or if they didn't meet yheir bag. Plus amateurs who lose tjeir money willing to fuck for cash. Bit uts pointless given yhe amount of free pussy in vegas

If the local clubs don't reopen this summer, I will think about going to Vegas for a week if the strip clubs reopen there. I've actually never been to the strip clubs there. I'm a little suspicious, I wonder if the strippers there are all just trying to talk you into a disappointing 3-figure VIP dance, cause they got new suckers coming in every night. That's what the clubs in San Francisco are like.

Everyone you encounter in Las Vegas has a hustle for separating you from your money. You need to keep your antenna for grifters up 24/7. It gets tiring. Strip clubs. Casinos, Cabs. Walking on the strip. Fucking everywhere. I can only take so much.

Not really. It just takes common sense but you get treated like a "mark" anywhere if you act like one

Ya, just enjoy it for what it is. Skip the strip clubs and sex industry in general there. There's good restaurants, a little not-to-high-stakes gambling, some great bars, go shoot some machine guns, etc. Plenty of other things to do there.
