    Hopefully it's just old people.

This is not surprising. I don't think I"m going back to TJ until there is a vaccine and I've had it.

Thank you for sharing this information. My ATF who lives in Culiacan stated that there is a general denial by many Mexican Nationals of the authenticity of this disease and not taking seriously the shelter in place order. I would imagine it will take Mexico substantially longer to recover from this pandemic than here in the US.

I've booked a flight to SAN and a suite at the Hotel Ticuan for late September. Rates for both are much better than they were a few weeks ago. I'm keeping a positive attitude and hope that there will be better news by then!

They won’t recover fast enough. Trumpy boy is going to use this to justify locking out Mexico to secure votes.

I've been daydreaming about going back in the fall, but contingent on the situation in TJ, not the state of the border crossing. I have to fly a fair distance to get there already, so for me it's viable to fly to TIJ via MEX instead of flying to SAN...

Many Mexicans were celebrating to Coronavirus in the US, and certain that they would somehow be exempted. Who is laughing now, motherfuckers? Well, no one, but you get my drift.

So my long dream trip of going to the Hong Kong will have to be put on hold even longer then.

How does it feel that TRUMPY let this happen

You should take a trip the Nem. You must see the future of the Democratic party dying in Mexico, oh well lol. The virus seems to hate Democrats judging by where it is hitting the hardest.

TJ is becoming more and more dangerous, a local showed me where a man was killed on the corner sidewalk by the famous alley when i was there, unheard of years ago, any a taxi driver told me to be careful..... best to go in pairs if you got a buddy

I think a lot of latin american countries, will probably take longer to recover. But they will recover. TJ has a lot of $$ flowing thru, so I think (hope) it bounced back relatively quickly compared to lets say Guayaquil, Ecuador: [view link]

I know that going to the zona always had risk, but it amazed me to see during corona time that the people here function just like normal, no one is sick or afraid.  The same SGs and BGs are still here,  the taco sellers, the pandhandlers, the local mongers, and the border crossers, yes they're here too, I saw a few different ones on Fri - Tue.  The hallways of the hotel is filled with loud music & laughter til 3am every nite.  Good thing I still brought my ear plugs to sleep.

They're still the same as last year, it's like nothing has changed, only less crowded, you can see fotos for free on chicabow. The streets are also busy like normal, less taxis but more cars parked.

Another month passed, zona still active since April while pandemic patients overwhelmed TJ & US border hospitals to the brink of shutdown, as reported by the news. Is zona immune? Will there be an outbreak when the bars reopen and US Johns flock in? Stay tuned.

Notice how the covid numbers are impossible to verify and thus easy to falsify. You can't just call a hospital and ask them how many CV patients there are. It just takes one person in the media office to give a number.

I thought the Mexicans finally agreed to pay for and build the wall to keep Americans and our coronavirus out. Did this change?

don’t get me wrong. I’ve had fun with some of the street girls . but my best experiences are with the bar girls. Mostly in hong kong. so I am waiting for hong kong to re-open

Jascoi, I am with you. And the bar environment is great fun. Music, drinks, and eyeball deep in hot women. The BG are interested in making sure the monger has a good time, hoping for repeat business. My experience with the street girls has been assembly line sex. Not my style. gammanu95, you are kidding, right? Mexico never was and never will pay for the Turnip wall.

@tahoecruz i agree, the BGs are much more fun than the SGs, though I am not sure all BGs are interested in making sure mongers have a good time. My experience (pre Covid) was the hot girls who hang out in the middle of the main floor are the wham bam BGs, usually very hot (enhance too) but presa for arriba very quickly and usually turn down your offer for a ficha. It took me about two or three experiences to realize the pattern amd move away from the A team BGs in the middle of the club, preferring to find B Team BGs who like to party and the fun ones arriba could ve ABGs and OTCBGs.

If that is your experience, likely you are not carefully vetting the girls. I have had BGs turn on me. They are great the first couple of times with me and when they get comfortable, decided that they don't have to try as hard. Easy enough to drop them and move on to the next. It could be that my tastes tend to run more of the GND as opposed to the porn star. The worst experiences I have had are with girls that have come off the street, because they are hot enough to make money in the clubs. In the room, they still deliver a SG performance. And gammaun95, apparently you have never been there, so I am taking your remark with a shaker of salt.

@tahoecruz True, it took me three or visits to learn the true value of the fichas and the A team does not always provide the best experiences. I think initially the visual overload can be overwhelming and it takes time to learn to have a great time. I was also advising TUSCL TJ Nation about the BGs that hang out in the middle the club can be amongst the most expensive, non negiators BGs and underwhelming experiences. Solo mis dos centavos
