Best timesto drive through Atlanta to avoid traffic ?

The best times to avoid Atlanta traffic are the times you are not driving in Atlanta. It's always bad.

Get to wherever you want to be before 3 PM, and stay until after 7 PM. This is especially true on the west side. Decatur traffic isn't "as bad" as the rest of metro Atlanta.

Related note: this is why my Follies visits usually last 7-9 hours.
