UK media: Prince Andrew’s sex claims rebuttal a PR disaster

Prince Andrew agreed to a TV interview to try to explain his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, the pedophile, and to deny he slept with Epstein's underage sex slave. I have not seen the interview, but it did not seem to go well.

"I expected a train wreck,’’ said Charlie Proctor, editor of the Royal Central website, which covers the British monarchy. “That was a plane crashing into an oil tanker, causing a tsunami, triggering a nuclear explosion-level bad.”

It’s probably not a good idea for an out of touch royal to try and defend a highly incriminating position on his own.

Maybe he should have just been honest about his perversions. That would have been better than the miserable attempt at seeming innocent. Saying someone may have altered photos to include his likeness did not come across as believable.

He should have admitted he had sex with legal age girls but was under the impression that they were there willingly and not trafficking victims.

Epstein was clearly slimy, but some of the girls seem to be calling it trafficking after the fact to justify being known prostitutes

Claiming he doesn't sweat was a bold claim for sure.
