Airbnb and other things to do in TJ; streets to avoid?

Has anyone used an Airbnb for their stay in TJ near Hong Kong? I plan to come on the weekend and I'm considering booking one instead of Hotel Cascadas because:

1. Hotel Cascadas is pricier on the weekend and there are Airbnb options for $30 a night
2. I want to try the other clubs meaning I'll pay for the hotel room either way
3. I want to sight see a bit and go dancing/clubbing

I would appreciate any advice or suggestions on locations and places to avoid. I plan to mainly walk after taking a taxi to HK.

Thanks in advance all!

You better go to the chicabow or tjtalk sites for that info.

I went on a trip earlier this year and stayed at an airbnb w/ some friends about 10min away. Cool spot on the beach with a great view, came out to about $50 (each), BUT i also rented a room at hotel cascadas. Why? Cuz the regular (deluxe) room is cheap, and if i wanted to grab a quick power nap to recharge, i wanted the option. Plus (and this may just be my own weird anxiety) I wanted my own restroom that was available to me whenever I needed it.

I'm not sure which clubs allow what girls to go where but I remember seeing a girl in a "Chicago" robe going into Cascadas. Maybe another forum has the answer to that, or you could ask the girls if anything.

I'm not sure what streets to avoid, but I've heard pretty much anything around the clubs is a no-go.

chicabow is much more popular. (however still a far cry from what tj amigos was. )

i allways stay at cascada or rizo. on duty hk girls go there. (probably not to your airbnb room.)

allways stay right close to the zona norte clubs. and be aware of your surroundings. and watch your step.
