  I represwent poor people so the idea I would claim to be high powered is simply a lie. I work for myself and I determine what I do and when. Climate science is pure unadulterated bullshit. The heat measurements they are using are being taken at locales that were rural 100 years ago and in the middle of an urban environment as we speak. Science gave us: eugenicsa; phrenology; flat earth; being gay was a mental illness and on and on. 45 years ago the climate was being destroyed and we were entering an ice age. Thirty years ago we were all going to burn to death by now because of the hole in the ozone layer. The climnate crisis is man made bullshit created by the left in their pursuit of the type of Giovernment Orwell warned us about. Yes, you can show with some middle-school physics that a melting ice cube doesn't raise the water level as it melts. However ice sheets and mountain glaciers are not floating -- they're attached to the land -- and they contribute to rising sea level when they melt.

  I regret the day you were born SJG. Interesting question Estafador. Since the climate has changed continually throughout time I do believe in climate change and that it is also natural. In the past a volcanic eruption (1815) caused a year with no summer in 1816. Starvation for many followed. While man could cause climate change and maybe has, I simply do not give a fuck and not because I am old. Until climate change becomes entirely divorced from the left's attempt to destroy the current economic system, there will be no consensus. The left is looking for big Government. I oppose that for all the reasons Orwell gave in 1948, when he wrote 1984. If people gave a crap about the climate, then work together, but when the left ties it to financial give aways and their control, I say fuck it.

  @skibum I find your point of view interesting. We can definitely agree climate change is natural but the rapid erosion of the atmosphere is definitely due to human consumption. And while it shouldn't be force-fed down everyone's throat like it has to be the law of the land, the issue lies in that the only people that do care about fixing climate change is the people that have less money than the wealthy. At individually every single person cannot put 70% of their time into fixing the world even together because they still have to pay their own bills and feed their own children and help their own families. That's why with government and is large expensive cash, and the fact that it has military power, it can force companies who deliberately do not want to change the way they run their businesses tub push for more eco-friendly options to save the planet. Because let's be real, the most wealthiest people are the most fewest in the world but who controlled most of the world's assets. 10 million poor people vs 1000 super rich people it's still a battle of who has the most money. And if one super billionaire has more money than 10 million poor people that he can be just as easy to do by picking off people one by one and crumbling the Earth health conscious side. So, that's why I believe people who are more eco-conscious are urging the government to step in because the government is one unibody with so much power that it can literally strip away billionaires of their earnings vs 1 million poor people who has sticks against 1000 rich people who have artillery rifles. I hope what I said has made sense. After all the change may be financially damaging on the short-term but could be economically prosperous in the long term. If for no other reason, then because you have a nerve that will stay alive longer for people to do business on allowing businesses to strive for longer versus an earth which will die in a shorter period Of time
