Common in Germany, or at least used to be. The video is actually a pretty close representation, although of course everything looks nicer and cleaner, and the young Madonna is better looking than what you would see in real life. And of course the video couldn’t replicate the smell of a couple of thousand guys’ spunk in the air.
I have been to one many years ago just outside a military base in MO. This video depicts it spot on.

I have to think web camming has been the final nail in the coffin for peep shows. You can choose from 100s of girls for pretty much the same experience without the sticky floors.

I assume peep-shows became obsolete as strip clubs proliferated and became more popular.
I went to one maybe 2x near Ft Lauderdalein the mid to late 90s,it was inside a small old cramped adult bookstore - on one of my visits there was actually a super-hot chick working - she looked like she was mixed (black/white), her complexion and hair kinda looked like Whitley from the 80s show "A Different World", but this chick was slim-thick with a perfectly toned body and perfect Ds that were perfectly shaped and stayed right in place w/o a bra while looking very firm and very-full; I didn't hit SCs at the time and in retrospect can only assume she was a stripper maybe doing this for some extra side $$$ (it was an afternoon visit) - or maybe she was the type of hot chick that didn't like to be touched and maybe didn't strip bc of it - I went a 2nd time a week or 2 later hoping to see the super hot chick and instead there was a trailer-park whitegirl with a cast in one arm as if she had gotten beat up by her pimp; didn't go again after that.

They do offer very tame laps as well as a higher-priced, one-on-one "talk to a naked girl through glass" booth who encourages you to get comfortable. But, really, you can do better at almost any of the real LD clubs nearby
Peep shows are more than a bit antiquated. If they exist, I suspect that it's more of a retro hipster porn thing.
