  IGU: I've seen some of those party videos... Most of the women in the crowd were very attractive... in fact all that were taking an "active role" in the proceedings were very doable... MY question is, how much are the guys paying so that they can dance for the women?!

  DougS: You could be right. This was not a home video. It was produced for profit. But I also know that there are other male dancers (dick dancers) that work in clubs and do private parties. I know that Ken Wood of KenWood Enterprises got his start as a male stripper and now owns 6 strip clubs. The one in Memphis is still closed but he still owns it.

  Other than the few who work in Chippendale's type shows, I don't think they make anything to compare with female strippers. There just aren't that many places and not that many dance jobs. And women don't spend anywhere near what men spend on strippers. I guess they have to do it for the love of performing.

  I bar-backed at a male-stripper revue when I was a grad student. Most nights of the month, the clientele was strictly male -- so you'd call it a "gay" club. There were select weekend "shows" when the whole bar turned over to a female clientele, but those shows were announced and advertised well in advance, and often special "feature" male dancers were brought in as stage acts. So it was a bachelorette-party headquarters once in a while, but generally a sleaze-pit of men picking one another up. Members of the "wrong" gender for any given night were not allowed to enter as customers without escorts of the opposite gender.
  
  The "staff" (not to be confused with the "dancers") were required to wear skimpy western outfits and do a little line-dance on the bar once an hour; otherwise our jobs were pretty much that same as at any typical watering hole, running ice chests up to the bar, emptying trashcans full of longneck beer bottles, swabbing the deck. I would make $10 an hour, roughly (before taxes), plus lots of tips. On a good weekend night I could get $40 to $60 in tips. So, that's maybe $200 in tips and $200 in net-pay per week, if I worked entirely full time. Which I didn't. Nobody did. And no benefits.
  
  The dancers would get about the same in official pay, and depending on how much they hustled (and how licentious their private behavior was) they could up their tips a bit. Not considerably, though. A male service-provider in a room full of either (a) bachelorettes with all their friends looking on, or (b) men who would rather have sex for free with one another, than sex for pay with a dancer, isn't necessarily in high demand. I'd guess a BJ went for about $20 to $50, depending on the level of glam-looks a dancer might have had. I don't know how much of this went on. I don't know more details, largely because I didn't stick around the dark corners or put my nose in everybody else's business, which is one reason I survived the place relatively unscathed and also untouched by the prevalent drug culture there.
  
  So, the answer to the question? I dunno, $500 a week? Less than a female stripper. And this isn't considering the Vegas style "revue" dancers of Chippendale style. They are practically Actor's Equity performers, getting a union wage, with almost no sleaze factor at all. Like girls who dance at Radio City Music Hall, they might have a rich sugar daddy, but the trade is all in minks and shopping dates, not tip-outs.

  I've seen those stripper party videos (not the hardcore party videos). These were produced in England and the stripper parties were held in large rooms.
  
  If you want to see some free previews, type in CFNM (clothed females naked males) in a search window. A bunch of adult oriented listings. Don't be 'fooled' by the HARDCORE PARTY vids where the girls do everything.
  
  As far as the question... how much do they get paid... I have no idea. HOWEVER.... since I am over the age of most male strippers, I wouldn't mind picking up some extra cash doing private strips for the ladies in the rest homes! :-)
