High cost of living.   High taxes.  Expensive housing.    Heavy traffic.    The weather is nice though.

You gotta live where you want to live.  But I think making a living decision to be close to a strip club is not a good reason.  But I can't make that decision for you.  Only you can.

I would work for a company with a terminal in san diego and take me offtime in san diego. I would get a post office box in san diego. Keep my official address in ky for cheaper taxes and have all mail forwarded to san diego. I spend 85 90 percent of my life on the road as it is.

Go out for 2 or 3 weeks come back fo tj keep on repeating cycle. I would just have to find the right company

That being said, if you find something that works for you first and helps your mongering, more power too you.

my next move (after my liquidation of assets living in arizona) will be to tj itself. 

SD is not the only place to choose from. Anywhere in Socal within 3hrs drive to border is also good.

I have thought about moving to San Diego when I retire in 7-10 years, but doubt I'll go through with it. Like others have said, moving based on mongering might not be prudent, so much else to consider, the cost of living in SD being the primary drawback.
If I were to relocate in retirement, I might go with Vegas (I think I'm strong-willed enough to avoid the pitfalls of gambling) or Phoenix, major cities (no way I'm living in some rural podunk place) that are a reasonably close drive to TJ.
And there's no way I'd consider living in Mexico. Nice place to visit for a few days, but ...

@anislee is correct, San Diego is not your only choice there are plenty of decent places 2-3 hours away.

I'm thankful I live in one of them.

If you are thinking about retiring in a monger-friendly place, you all need to think globally. There are several places where you can do multiple sessions a day for less than one hour with a high-end stripper or pro in the US.

Take a look at Thailand, Dominican Republic, Curacao, Colombia (but not Venezuela right now!), Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Shanghai. You can live a reasonably comfortable life in most of these places (including frequent hot 20-30-ish chacas) for $2,000-$3,000 a month.

Thailand and Colombia, in particular, sound like awesome places to retire to for the sole purpose of pussy-eating. I think it would be worth it to try for like six months or so. You can always come back if you don't like it. 

Countryman would you still keep your historic home place? If the answer is yes, then maybe instead of relocating to SD, you could relocate to TJ.

Maybe you could park your personal auto at your SD employer's place.

Maybe in TJ all you would need is a hotel for when you are there.

Maybe you could keep stuff in SD in a large vehicle which is parked at your employer's place.

If that ever were to fall apart you could just drive said vehicle back to your original home place.

Sounds like you've got some most interesting prospects here!

Some people say that Mexicali and other Mexican places are better than TJ, for the aficionados like yourself.

But I'd find it hard to believe any place is better than TJ for mongering, in terms of options, quality and value. Where else but in Hong Kong can you walk in and see 80-100 women at any given time, many of them smoking hot, and know that you can have sex with them for a reasonable price? And if that doesn't suit you, there's Adelita's, Chicago Club and host of other bars/brothels and numerous street gals, many of whom are attractive, if not hot.
Only a diaper-wearing dip-shit like Flagooner couldn't get laid in this place.
