FKK Motorcity Goes Out of Business

America's first FKK club, the FKK Motorcity, has gone out of business.
FKK (which stands for Freikorperkultur or Free Body Culture) is a German movement of naturalists or nudists. It emphasizes the acceptance of nudity and free love.
In Germany FKK clubs are popular gathering places for people who enjoy nudity along with saunas and jacuzzis. You can shower and bathe and receive spa treatments and massages. Most of the German FKK clubs operate as brothels where nude women mingle with older men and prostitution is accepted.
Otto Flugelmann, manager of FKK Motorcity, explained his club had not closed for legal reasons related to prostitution. "It was a purely economic decision," said Flugelmann. "We couldn't attract any customers. All the whores in Detroit are working in the strip clubs and none of the men take showers or enjoy saunas and baths."
