I have thought before that clubs which appear mostly empty, few customers or dancers, which remain open anyhow, could be money laundrying fronts

Often times banks are reluctant to approve a business loan for a strip club if they are trying to maintain a clean reputation in the community. Although legal many people look suspiciously at strip clubs. So if your looking to open or buy a club or make upgrades and the bank won’t loan you money guess where you go for a loan? I’d suspect this happens quite a bit and is the first step for the mob to get their hands into the clubs business
