There are many there that fit that description and they are there on a nightly basis. Not all of them have boob jobs. The building I'm in is equivalent to a 4 star luxury resort with all of the amenities and it's a fraction of what it costs in San Diego.
The crime and violence that is sensationalized in the media is not the day to day reality for most locals in TJ. 99% of the violence is targeted hits on people in the drug trade.
For the more adventurous buy Mexican auto insurance before entering the country. Then drive down the coast to Ensenada a port of call for cruise ships. Stop at halfway house and enjoy a lobster lunch on the patio while whale watching. A must see in Ensenada is Hussongs Cantina the place where the margarita was invented. Drive a few miles south to view the Bufadora (blow hole). When I lived in So Cal we didn't even stop in TJ.

No matter what you read, once you're in TJHK your head will spin, and you'll spend money lavishly, but still save a lot. If you can speak Spanish I'd imagine there're unlimited fun, like touring the cities with a hot novia or two.
@Countryman, to your original question: During my visit in late January, I stayed at Cascadas Hotel for the first time, for the first two nights. I went straight from airport to HK the first night, getting there around 11 p.m. The next day I grabbed by computer and headed back over the border to the Outlet Mall, where I had lunch in the food court, got some work done (it was one of those quasi-work vacations), surfed the Internet while having a coffee at Starbucks, and then went back to the food court for dinner (a cheesesteak) before heading back to Cascadas to shower and prepare for another great night at HK. I usually like to spend about 6 hours a night at HK, from around 9 p.m. to 3 a.m roughly. You could spend all day there, but it would get costly with the tipping, drinks, whatever else, and I'd hate having to constantly turn down drink and arriba overtures from women (I'm only good for one pop a day). Plus, I think it's good to get away from the club for a bit to recharge. I preferred going back to the U.S, for two reasons: I like that outlet mall, nice setting, kind of an upscale feel to it. The area outside of HK can be a little depressing. It certainly makes me appreciate the life I have in the U.S. and how fortunate I am financially. My last two days there, I stayed at the Motel 6 in San Ysidro and did the same, mall during the day, HK at night. I have no desire to ever live in Mexico (but I sort of envy the ex-pats that do), but if the cost of living in San Diego were reasonable (it's not), I'd consider retiring there in about 10 years and just hitting TJ every week.
Countryman, if you are attached to your historic home, and now to TJ, just start a business which depends on both locations. Something happens in each, so you spend half your time in each, on a 28 day lunar cycle. Travel then becomes tax deductible.

Sounds like it is a near ideal setup. You can get girls from LC, HK, or the Street. And probably you could take a street girl into the Azul Restaurant and into LC.
