Unfortunately, there are people that want to dictate to others what a new decent world would look like. Would you want Islamists or devout Christians to be the ones to decide?
For all that people talk about wanting to make the world better, it's usually more of a power grab to make things the way they want to see it. Look at communists and socialists.....they talk a good game about equality for all....but you still end up with assholes getting rich and powerful and the rest of the people paying for it. Castros....multi-billionaires, Maduro shipping gold out of country for his own use.....they're all the same. At least with capitalism and a free market, each person can raise themselves up to those levels, and they can do it without force. All they have to do is come up with the right product or service and sell it at a profit.
