“If Americans really felt the need for more parties we'd vote for them. The fact we don't proves we're either stupid, or we don't care. When people care enough things will change.”
- Skibum609
I would add that maybe is because “Wealth and power has a way of convincing the wealthy they are entitled to do whatever they want. It’s expressed in the “golden rule”: whoever has the gold makes the rules”
Title says it all.

Good topic.
The two party system isn't a CHOICE at all! Such a flawed paradigm.

The simple fact is that people choose to be poor and progressives use them for their own gains. Progressives have absolutely nothing to offer in the way of viable policies so what they do is keep people poor and then buy their votes with a pittance. The whole bullshit about letting welfare cases come here in violation of the law and then whining about separating families is simplya reaction to the fact that in eras of high employment, they have jack shit to offer people, because they have jobs and don't need handouts. In order to find losers who need handouts, they allow criminals and welfare cases from foreign lands to flock here. Immigration needs to end. All of it.

The two parties are the same, or they would be the same, but the Democratic Party does have a more progressive wing. Consider Robert Kennedy, George McGovern, Frank Church, Birch Bayh, Walter Mondale, Michael Dukakis, Tom Harkin, Jerry Brown, Bernie Sanders, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

House Votes to Block Trump National Emergency Declaration ( tally means this must have been bipartisan, so it then could pass the Senate. Walls take time to build. So the idea that you build it by declaring a National Emergency is preposterous.)

Parties don't mean a thing. The problem is the system.
