Strip Club Idea

While the country is on the upswing I still notice an empty store or two at each mall. Rather than leave those stores empty why not just put a strip club in there? This would create jobs, revenue for the mall, and boyfriends/dads will be more eager to drive thier girlfriends/wives/familys to the mall!

I like how you think ;-)
I don't think it's a coincidence that this upswing coincides with Trump's presidency.
Feel free to discuss.
When I go to the mall - those massage chairs all seem to be occupied. I’m thinking lots of mall shoppers need a massage...
Check the GDP history. Its pretty clear this economic upswing started during the last administration.
No need to lock the door. Why would anyone suspect a buffet of having whores in a series of rooms (that appear to be freezers) behind the kitchen...
Not true
Don’t they release pigeons when the wives are near?
There are zoning laws most places. And most shopping malls would not want strip clubs.
I feel though that we do need to develop a new kind of venue.

So the body has been identified, it is the 32yo Ian Powers who vanished at the 11/12 Monday night football game.
They are saying that it was an accidental drowning, and now the case is closed.

san_jose_guy - commonly referred to as SJG this forum member is usually mocked or ignored, his comments should NOT be taken in any way as legitimate
wellhungsac420 - definite troll account
I think the reason this doesn't happen more often (filling up empty mall locations with strip clubs etc.) is that there aren't enough willing dancers to go 'round.

@wellhung I like your idea. Only addition would be to make parking discreet. All the adult bookstores Ive seen have parking facing the highway. The lots are usually empty and I bet they accuse amazon for ruining thier business
Then you are looking at different GDP data than I am.
My data shows that the upswing started during the third year of the last administrations second term. It was slow, but clearly there.
Be sure you are looking at raw GDP data. All sorts of funny accounting is often done to cook one conclusion or another. Especially don't look at the nominal GDP which doesn't take into effect costs of living or inflation.
All a silly discussion anyway. The idea that any particular presidential administration can actually shift the economy during peacetime is a myth.

That could restore competition to a place like San Francisco.

Laws against prostitution are always hard to enforce. Usually to do so they have to shred the Constitution and Due Process.
One growth area is Membership Clubs. The club looses alcohol sales and retail traffic. But they can build up a good clientele and there is little political mandate for LE to put manpower into busting it. Harder for LE to get in. So likely it could be anything goes front room, back room, or just walking a girl right out the front door with you.
Today, if a club sells alcohol that makes it much much easier for LE to close them down, just an administrative action needed, no jury trial and no proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
So the membership club model is being used many places, though it was pioneered by Swinger's Clubs.
Less problems overall, easier to start a smaller such club.
And some Swinger's Clubs, at least allegedly, are moving into P4P.
My interest in this is not to make the most money or to out Deja Vu Deja Vu, just to restore good competition.
AMPs, Strip Clubs, and Hostess Dancing each have their advantages and disadvantages. I believe that you could make something which gets the best of all three, and be low set up costs, no special licensing or inspections, and more difficult for LE to crack and less political mandate to crack it.
As it stands now, very hard to open any more strip clubs in many places, and in San Francisco DV has even closed clubs of its own, because they really do have it all locked up, and their modus operandi is clip joint.

Overall a very tame and well behaved clientel. Women will be happy if they are getting money.
Very hard for LE to crack. How many complaints will depend on how it is advertised.
Doesn't beat Deja Vu, but it does restore quality and competition.
The $100 is no guarantee and non-refundable. But you will get your front room makeout session before proceeding further.
I could supply a list of names of girls from a local club, who would be more than happy to fulfill this need.
