Besides TJ, but include if you must, what’s your opinion of the 5 best cities in the US for overall clubbing. I need to make a Miami/Pompano visit, but my list, some from reading and from experience would be:
- Miami
- LA/COI
- Tampa
- Detroit
- Vegas

I forgot Detroit! I put it #2. I really mean the whole LA area, like COI.
NYC should never ever appear in anybody's top 5 or even top 10 list. there's probably 4-5 cities in florida alone that are way better than nyc.
In my travels I would list.
- Mississauga, Canada
- East St Louis
- Greenville, SC
- Phoenix
- Elizabethtown, NJ

@Goldmomger, for those of us that have clubbed in LA/SoCal, yes we really mean COI clubs.
Sadly Greenville and Phoenix, while they once deserved to be on the list, are now a shell of their former selves. Today I’d say
Detroit Miami Atlanta Tampa LA and COI (I have found mileage has gone up in LA clubs lately, haven’t been to coi in a while but I’m familiar with it)

vegas can be fun butt so dang expensive.

@Ironman - That list is pretty funny but, true that each of those could compete on their own and beat most cities.
Does follies alone garner Atlanta a high rating?
I was in LA for a few days this year and the clubs I saw were good. Other than Bare Elegance I intentionally went to less reviewed places and had fun without going to COI.
it’s amazing how just one girl can make a club experience fun!
Miami then Dallas. Everything else these days is just hit or miss. Las Vegas has too much hustle. Detroit and Atlanta have cracked down so much where we might as well not even have clubs at all.
What clubs in Tampa are so great anyhow?
Couple of similar threads on this over the past few days; my top 5 from personal experience:
- Detroit metro area
- GTA (Greater Toronto area and I include Niagara Falls in this grouping)
- Tampa
- Myrtle Beach* (an asterisk here as it used to be really good before the ordinances ~5 years ago; now, it is just OK)
