Saw a dancer dressed as Lara Croft today but she didn't have the gun or gun holster (so she ended up looking like a mountain climber or hiker). She's really good and experienced on the pole (constantly uploading pole tricks to her instagram) but I wondered if the gun thing was because it would have fallen out once she got her feet above her head.

A positive retention holster will hold a pistol st any angle. It locks in the pistol and doesn’t release it unril you press a button or release a clasp. It also prevents someone else from grabbing the pistol out of your holster, unless they know how to release it. Good example: Blackhawk SERPA.

Yeah, those holsters are great. I think their other gear is crap though. Or at least was. I don’t play around with that stuff anymore.

You can buy holsters that will secure a gun so it won’t fall out even upside down.
