I’m getting an advertisement that Cody’s Bar and Grill in South Dakota wants dancers because of pheasant season.

I am hearing contradictory things about the pheasant hunting season. Is is mostly for the month? Or the end of December?

The last club review from this site is 2014. Anyone familiar with it more recently?

Opening day of the 2018 pheasant hunting season in South Dakota is Saturday, October 20. The season then lasts through Sunday, January 6, 2019.
You do know how cold it gets in South Dakota, don't you Miss San Antonio ?
Here is when pheasant hunting season is this year. Dont know anything about the club though
Pheasant hunting has been huge, historically, in South Dakota. Bird numbers have declined as habitat has but it’s still a big deal. It runs the dates Warrior said but it’s largely an October and Nivember thing, depending on the weather and the harvest.

As long as the roads aren’t icy, it will be all good. I’ll have laps to keep me warm. ;)
And thanks for the pheasant info guys. It’s an unknown area for me so I was intrigued.
@mamisan Well he can’t stay in the stripper housing provided. Hopefully he will be able to stay away from the hunters.
Never been there. Just heard rumors. There is another nearby club/bar/restaurant called Frank Days. Porn star Playboy model Teri Weigel used to hangout/dance there all the time during hunting season.. You better be able to handle wild if you expect to dance these places.
How wild is wild out there? I was under the impression some of the clubs there were conservative without 2 way touch?
Obviously won't make it out there this time, but maybe next year. Also wanna make it out to western SD next year. Heard it's pretty.
Nicespice, fly up to Rapid City, or wherever it is you have to fly into, bank some serious cash and write a review. Sounds like a win-win to me
Seriously though, I have no helpful info, sorry.
Does the hunting season apply to the 1 club in western SD? Or it's more east?
Blahblahblah- I assume the hunting season is for the whole state. One thing I heard about the clubs in rural South Dakota is that they are only open Thursday through Saturday. I don't know if it's true, though.
Blah, traditionally pheasant hunting was mostly prime in the eastern part of the state but pheasant numbers are a little better in the central part of the state. So hunters focus mostly on the eastern two thirds of the state.
I hear South Dakota is the same as North Dakota, empty and cold.
When I was a little kid, my dad just had to see Mr Rushmore. So we drove from Texas to South Dakota. Man, was that a long drive.
Mt Rushmore. Damn auto correct.
Ok thank you!
Well judging from what I can tell. It seems like it’s worth a shot. I’ll message them and ask specific things to see if I’ll follow through.
Thanks for the responses.
I’d love to be able to see the sites as well, if I had time.

I am interested in this as well. Do you mean “extras” or something else?
Western South Dakota is beautiful! Rapid City is nice. There is a lot of sites to see. Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, more impressive than Mt Rushmore in my opinion. The Bad Lands, the Black Hills. Deadwood, Sturgis, Reptile Gardens. They have an old steam engine train ride through the black hills.
The area is more of a summer destination. Not much is open in winter
Ah, makes sense MackTruck.
You would travel to dance where there are only 3 days you could work in a week though?? —chin rubbing emoji—
Money wouldn’t have been the only incentive.
That being said, these people took enough of the initiative to find a girl to advertise. But not enough initiative to respond to the provided email, nor answer any Facebook comments.
So lol. Safer bet large city clubs (who never bother to advertise) it is.
