  I’ve heard that’s it’s common enough for a lot of escorts to start out as strippers first.
  
  I’ve also heard the same thing about porn performers who go into camming first. (But I’m not confident on how true that is)
  
  I wouldn’t be surprised though if there was a lot doing both stripping and porn.

  Well I have heard of this. But most of the time those who do porn start doing that before they would go to strip clubs. They start at 18yo.
  
  I have heard of a place in The Czech Republic where they will have dolled up stripper grade hotties, and they will put on a little show for you. The video shows some DFKing going on. Then you can session with the girl in a room with a bed and servo cameras. They make a video, the women get paid, but you just get free sex.   yah ima ignore the stalk-y part..... i think many do in hopes they might get famous, but also because you can make a lot more $ in the club, or as an escort, or even as a camgirl if you've done mainstream porn. it really doesn't pay that well itself from what i've heard unless you get big enough to sign with brazzers or something. even those girls do feature dancing, onlyfans, escorting and what not.

  Back when xoticspot was running for portland, there were some strip club dancers who talked about having made pro-am porn, and offering it for sale. Mostly I think it was just advertising for VIP sessions.

  Id say porn is moreso a gateway to stripping. The money just isnt in porn anymore. A lot of girls in porn might dance, do OTC, and cam show to make a lot of money. Girls used to make a lot of money in films until pornhub and xvideos came around. Wierd to think there was a day when we had to buy vhs and dvds of our favorite films.

  I met Lana Rhoades before she went into porn. She looked so different than she does now, no boob job (completely unnecessary IMO), no lip injections, just a year or so removed from high school.   It's common enough you can just ask the dancer I believe. She might try to sell you one of her porn DVDs and direct you to a web site. The girls I've known who were into it never got rich or famous however one girl scared me a bit when she said something about she could make stuff appear on some web sites. I didn't want to appear. Made me wonder who I was involved with. Could have been involved with a somewhat famous porn star and not known it. That's not something I ever intended if true. Things just happened one night.   Several years ago I was approached by a dancer that I would rate no higher than a 6.5.   Over the years I have met several girls that claimed to be porn stars, one in particular was a customary Cheetahs WPB a few years ago, one thing they all seemed to have in common was not one of all of the ones I’d met, would rate a second look out on the street. Most seemed to be ptetty average looking,6-7 at best.

  I think the opposite is more likely to happen. It seems that pornstars will move to stripping or escorting once their top earning days are coming to an end.
  
  There is a short shelf life in porn. It’s gotten a bit longer now due to MILF porn, but it’s still not very long. Feature dancing can be an option, but dancing and escorting can be very useful as they offer longer term earnings and generally more regular income.

  I can’t remember any of the shooting stars I’ve seen under a clear night sky. The same goes for the number of girls who’ve done porn before or after stripping.   First off, that doesn’t mean they are all “ pornstars “.
  
  Secondly, having broken the ice, I assume they are open to porn, stripping, cam shows, escort. Whatever works. Having their images public, they are limited to the work they can do.
  
  Third, there is a very short shelf life for these women to make good money. Probably 3-6 months for 99% of porn actresses. However, strippers and escorts can work into their 40s, though their income potential drops with each year they age.
