In September 1989 our golf trip was scheduled for South Carolina -- Hugo. 3 years later we made plans too late and decided wtf, Florida (Doral) in August - Andrew. No problems for 5 years and then we stopped for 20 years, resuming in 2017. No problems last year and this year its scheduled for next week - North Carolina. I apologize for what's going to happen.

I have rolladens and a built in generator, should be fine only problems I might have are the trees around the lakeside pool, but thanks for the heads up. ;)

Yeah we are already out of gas in WNC and overcrowded from people from the Coast.. Grocery stores damn near empty as well.

It's been downgraded to a Cat2 which I still wouldn't want to deal with but at least it's somewhat safer for anyone involved. It appears that the torrential rainfall is going to be the biggest problem. Good luck to the people affected.
