No one is denying that little boys are viewed as powerless, but rather you have to have been born yesterday to ignore the fact that little girls are viewed as the EPITOME OF HELPLESS compared to little boys. For instance , no one says "stop crying like a little. Boy".. rather, everyone says "stop crying like a little girl "
So why do.people say "stop crying like a little.girl " instead of "stop crying like a little.boy " when they obviously cry to the same fucking extent ?

Women are often the ones spearheading societal changes, and men are the ones usually playing catch up. Weak men are still despised by both men and women, but a weak women--or at least one who is perceived as weak--can easily find a group of women or men who will try their best to uplift her. That's why telling a boy to stop crying and "be a man" is still de rigueur, but saying that a boy "hits like a girl" is definitely a no-no according to my generation.
That said, biology is still a reality, and I don't think there will ever be a time where people can as easily stomach seeing a man punch a woman as they could seeing a man punch another man.
