Bizarrely, since I still think there was nothing wrong with that profile, it got suspended and deactivated -- SA refunded the fee to my credit card, and never charged it again. So, they might be dipshits, but not dishonest ones. They never told me what was wrong with that 2nd profile, there was no explicit mention of sex or PPM or anything else that sets off their sensors, from what i can tell, but there you go.

You could always just load up a Visa gift card and use that; or alternatively, nearly every credit card these days has a mechanism that lets you generate a one-time-only number, a feature that I use for many of my online purchases, and all my porn. You can use that, SA won't be able to charge the card again. Although I don't know SA's policy if they go to charge your card and it's blocked...

Yes there are but you do have to register your address for the card to work. They are reloadable debit cards. Perhaps a fake one works fine, dunno.

I think most of the credit cards offer a single use number for internet purchases, so your billing info is only visible to your provider, but if you are concerned about someone seeing the charge, like a spouse or SO, it depends on how the payee is listed, some list an innocuous sounding name on the statement others do not
