I never work outside of quebec and i would really like to try out a club in the usa but my english is so so.... i do have a passport but i just dont know how to proceed... any suggestion ?
If you’re just going to try to get your feet wet, you need to know that some areas in the U.S. require permits to dance in their jurisdiction. Those permits can be expensive; I’ve heard prices up to $300.
Otherwise, I don’t know what the requirements are for non-U.S. workers in this type of
“Independent contractor” job, but there are a number of Cubans working here in Louisville. I don’t know what their immigration status is, though.
Some cities require a dance license and some don't - Miami does not require dancer licenses but I don't know if a foreign girl needs any other type of permit to dance
I don’t know if you can legally work here if you’re just visiting with a passport. I don’t know that most will really care, either. Might make it difficult to get a license in those places that require them if you don’t have a work visa or something.
Calling clubs may help but most strip clubs are not very good about giving info over the phone and it usually requires going-in in person but you can always try a call or email but then again if they are breaking the law they may not help you over the phone
Do not bring any stripper clothes or shoes with you when you cross the border into the USA! And do not tell anyone you're coming to the USA to work. If the U.S. border control sees any stripper clothes they'll know you're coming here to work and will deny you entry because as a Canadian you need a visa to work. You need to look like a tourist!

If your profile pic is you, I dare say you’ll do well almost no matter where you go.
