Prostate question (part two)

My 60 y/o cousin lives in Cuba.

He has a recurring bacteria problem in his prostate that the antibiotics he's taken have not been able to eradicate.

Fortunately, he currently has a 2-month work-assignment in Germany where he's trying to get it treated.

Has anyone had any experience w/ a prostate bacteria problem? If sow how was it managed/cured?

Might it be Interstitial cystitis which is commonly misdiagnosed as an infection of the bladder. I have a sb that has that. It basically would mean he needs to alter his diet if thats the case.
