So the Bada Bing, from Sopranos fame, operating in real life as Satin Dolls in Lodi NJ is closing, along with AJs in Secaucus NJ. Been to AJs 2 or 3 times but never Satin Dolls. Funny things is, article says owners failed to account for large sums of cash! Just like in the Sopranos.
Are there any other clubs famous for something?
I may be mistaken but i thought they filmed at cheeques in linden.
Sad to hear Satin Dolls is closing. That place has been around for quite a while. It must have gotten much more popular after the Sopranos had it as their club.
After seeing the Wrestler - the club seemed a bit smaller than Stillettos -
Varsity Blues was filmed at the Landing Strip in Austin TX.
I think Mitchell Brothers in SF is famous for being the set for Behind the Green Door and a movie made about it a couple years ago
