Ok a rant. Take a look at the scout moms.. Yeah, most of those are straight. Having been a scout leader, I can tell you that while a lot of good is done. They have failed in some places, trying to push overly conservative values. Parents that drop off kids and rip out of the parking lot. The next place they have failed is just focusing on numbers. The numbers, you can't find a district leader until there is a recruitment drive in some cases.

Let's not forget about hiding the abusers and not informing the authorities when the was questionable behavior, Just like the catholic church.
