Customer made a dancer spill a drink on herself...

Wasn't a big spill, but just embarassingly clumsy of him. It was a free drink she was supposed to sell as part of a VIP promo.

So of course I said that was gross and rude when she walked away from him, and of course she sat down next to me and we talked. And I got to learn she lives in another tiny town a few miles from me, so the small talk went smoothly. So I offer to buy a few floor dances since she "wasted her time negotiating a VIP with that guy". This was a nice looker by the way, she was getting multiple guys tipping her on stage earlier.

Then got a couple of very playful floor dances that pushed the boundaries of this club. I was joking with her about how inappropriate it was for a guy twice her age to be enjoying this as I was getting woody - and she said it was all fine, it's our business. I had the next VIP special reserved with someone else, and needed to go. But I'll watch for this girl in the future.

Dunno what the lesson is here, just that unexpected things can happen in the club, and some days are better than others. You have to keep going, and ignore those crummy days when no dancers appealed to you.
