Do strippers ever genuinely retire ?

I've had strippers tell me about their financial goals, including a desire to work a few more years, save their money, then retire from any kind of work. Now, the more disciplined strippers can make well into 6 figures for 10, or even 20, years. So, it's theoretically possible by living moderately and investing your earnings.
Does anyone know a stripper who actually pulled this off ?
As a bonus question, when longer tenured strippers quit dancing, what is the likeliest next phase of their life ?

Of the stories I've followed, after stripping they can get boyfriends and husbands (and very often divorce; I'm on a lot of strippers facebooks, and it's a theme). Often, but not always, blue-collar jobs. I know at least one girl who got herself a well-to-do husband and seems to be living happily ever after
I also know another that cammed and got married, but found out later her and her husband both filed for bankruptcy. I would say that is NOT succeeding.
Only if mark94 marries them.

From my experience, it seems they genuinely try to retire and find a regular job. But many times it seems they can't make it in the real world actually having to work 5 days a week and have federal and state taxes taken out of their check.
So, many that I've known have either come back to dancing or have done it off and on to supplement their income. However there is definitely a shelf life to stripping as the inevitable effects of time take their toll on girls and there are always new, younger versions of them waiting to take their place.
Most just stop working one day.
