Since I couldn't make the (now cancelled) Juicepalooza in Detroit this week, I found myself in the lovely city of Detroit this past weekend. Usually I'm playing Russian roulette at one of the strip clubs with venereal diseases, but decided to take a break and do what I do best, lose money at a casino, specifically at the poker tables. Hopefully this night it would be more of a "slow bleed" than a gaping wound.
This particular night I went to MGM instead of my usual haunt, Greektown. Upon entering I was quickly reminded, why do I even go to Greektown in the first place? Anyway there was nothing out of the ordinary to this otherwise routine night, except walking through the casino trying to remember where the poker room was, I walked past a 6'2" transvestite dressed in a stripper dress which is something you don't see everyday. Then I really see a sight, walking past the main bar, there must have been a transvestite convention or something because there were at least 30 guys dressed in drag. My girlfriend and I tried to speculate how many were there but we couldn't. It was funny, there were dudes that must have spent more hours on make up than a performer in a Circ Du Soleil show and others that just looked like Juice just got off work and threw a wig on. I immediately thought where is LDK82 when you need him?
The next thing, though really made me wonder. As I was leaving around midnight I was walking to the parking garage and another guy dressed in drag walks in with what I assume was his wife, both wearing skin tight dresses. They were probably in their late 40s and for late 40s this woman was a 10. No she wasn't a tranny, her dress was so small her boobs were hanging out. Made me and my girlfriend think, WTF? We do some wild stuff in the bedroom but dressing up in drag is just a little to far. We were speculating, did she come home from work one day and find him wearing one of her dresses? And then was she like "yeah I'm cool with that, just keep making my Lexus payments and keep the country club membership." ?????
