  Wrong time to invest in Detroit, the market is very hot with a shortage of inventory across all property types residential office industrial and commercial. By Detroit I mean metropolitan Detroit which is defined as not in the city of Detroit proper. 2009-11? You would have killed it. I know people that bought during that time frame who've made millions now that the market has recovered. Another downturn may be coming in the future. Watch the auto sales. As they go, we go.
