If your going to use the vague label vampiness shouldn't there at you at least have a glossary entry defining what it should mean?
To me it means playfulness (not exactly what I'm looking for in a dancer btw) in the way your big sister might be if she was dressed like a tramp.
What does it mean to everyone else?

Fishsticks told me he learned it last year as a HS freshman.

I agree.
I've seen a range of definitions that seem to center on 'seductiveness', but with all sorts of additional connotations. Some that are positive, and some negative (at least from our perspective).

It seems like it's just one type of sexy girl, and not even a type many guys prefer.

A glossary entry, even if it's somewhat discreet and open-ended in its definition, is a good idea.

I never heard of the word vampiness before tuscl but by process of elimination it's just a replacement for the previous "dancer" rating.

"by process of elimination it's just a replacement for the previous 'dancer' rating."
New users don't have the benefit of knowing what used to be there. A while ago, someone mentioned that they thought it had something to do with the availability of extras (and perhaps it is... shrug).
The problem is that it's not a term in common usage. So, probably not the best label for a club metric.

^^^ I'm not the one who said it, but I actually wondered if it was either alluding to extras, or if not, at least a "sleaze factor" type thing. But for all I know, it has nothing to do with that, is about looks. Or something else.

Strippers go a lot further than just vampiness.

I think it's general hotness. Judging from the top vamp clubs and the reviews. My club is on there and it's not an extras club, and they are very picky ab dancers looks.

My point is made in the first ten comments. Vampiness means very different things to different people. Calling someone very "vampy" could be a compliment to one and get you slapped by another. If we are going to have useful ratings they need to be rating something that at least has commonality across raters.
I am pretty sure the founder was looking for a V word to go with value and vibe and the one chosen is fine as long as most everyone knows what we are supposed to be rating.
One the same note "value" is used very differently by many reviewers. Some will hate a club and still give it a 9 value because beer is $2 while others will use it to rank how much extra can be had even though a hj is $150.

I was gonna call it the Vagina rating

That doesn't help at all.

I stand by the suggestion that the label could use a glossary entry. Or maybe a sentence in the "review rules" area? And while the other two metrics are more intuitive a definition of what we are expected to rate would be make this site rating more useful.

heh ... "Vibe" and "Value" and "Vampiness" are new to TUSCL I see. Glad to know I'm not the only one trying to figure out what they mean. LOL ...
