I ran into one of my employees while she was moonlighting at Club Eden. We banged for a while, but she was a weird one. We mutually agreed to end it all after a couple of months. Apart from the job, we had nothing in common.

I have not me anyone I actually knew in real life, but this is kind of close. In 2010, shortly after a job promotion caused me to relocate from Michigan to Wisconsin, I began my days of clubbing. I think it was my second visit to this particular club where I had a nice conversation with one of the dancers. When I told her where I was from, she got excited and told me that is where she is from too. I then asked her what high school she went to. Her answer was a school that really does exist, so chances are she really is from the same city I was from. BTW, we both were from different school districts. My family lived in the suburbs and her family lived in the city. She was a very nice girl, but I did not get a dance from her. I don't remember why. It was probably because I already had several dances that night from other dancers.

A couple stories that don't quite fit the topic, but are close enough:

I had a similar experience as the OP. I went to the local club and saw a former college classmate of mine dancing. She was floored that I was "into strip clubs." We hung out briefly after that. In hindsight I wish I had some how leveraged the situation into being more plugged into my local club.

Met friends at the club to take in the sights? Lots of times. One rule was to avoid open VIP at the same time. Met friends who became dancers? Zero times. Too bad because some of them would've made great strippers.

I am a retired high school teacher. So far I have run into former students 5 times. My first encounter was with a former student who was a cocktail waitress and later became a dancer. Awkward moment but manageable. Next incident was running into a former male student who was a security guard. Moved on to the bar, got my drink and was watching the dancer on stage when there was a hand on my shoulder and "Mr. -----, I didn't expect to see you here." I have been there. It was a former classmate from 7-12th grade, just a few months after we had graduated HS. She was a legit 8.5/10, if not 9/10 ITC.
