Who was the genius that decided to use an apartment directly across from a police station?

So, the Gold Club has been shut down twice in Atlanta now. First, the strip club, and now the prostitution ring.

Heartbreaking story. But not really new - One of the writers from the Republican era of Rome (pre - 56 BC) asserted that sex and politics were intimate enemies - condemning each other in the Forum and meeting at night to accomplish what they condemned. The ADA arrest is probably an accurate summary of the conflicted issue.

Per the article:

"... Quinn’s attorney, Noah Pines, said he’s taken aback at the racketeering charges for the men accused of patronizing the organizations ..."

So this Quinn guy was just a customer and they are charging him w/ racketeering as being involved w/ a criminal enterprise - what a crock of shit - most likely an overzealous DA that wants to move up the political ladder and looking for an easy target and someone to easily throw under the bus.

IDK why this country insists on criminalizing someone who just wants to bust a nut and is willing to pay somebody for it.

When they bust customers, there are always political ramifications, because the net is so large. But just busting dancers is something the news papers should jump on. If they are to bust anyone, it should be the bosses.

But instead, whey don't we just start sending out undercover cops to enforce a law against marriage?

A "high end" escort service run out of an Atlanta apartment complex? Yeah right. And the racketeering charges don't have a snowball's chance in hell of surviving. They are just trying to scare people.

I'll let somebody else deal with SJG's new idea of arresting married people.

I don't know why anyone would trust their real identification to one of these escort agencies and their screening process. Seems like you're just asking to get busted.

I used to know Quinn. Good guy. Damn shame he's getting publicly humiliated like this.

So how does something like this affect their job at Follies? Don't they lose their permit for a sex-related arrest?

@shadowcat do you have a link to a good picture of the girls arrested? I tried to zoom in and see if I knew any, but I couldn't find a good pic.

I've only been able to find mug shots of 4 of them and those 4 were not Follies dancers.
