Our British friends typically take a condescending view of America, but this article argues that America's public process of confirming Supreme Court Justices is superior to Britain's secretive process.

^ Exactly shailynn, it's only the left leaning wankers that think they are condescending jackslash. Just like America there's good and bad in all us Brits.
As for the article to link to, I sense the Brits are being stitched up over Brexit.

the British are mostly a sensible people, after all they chose leave the EU and not to relinquish their currency for the "Euro" and the Pound is stable the Euro is not. Italy is teetering on the brink of leaving the EU as is France. That will leave all those Belgian frog bureaucrats out of their high paid do nothing jobs. Merkle with her messianic complex is the last of the world wannabe rulers in the EU and she will likely be voted out next election.
People are tired of governments taking away what we have worked for then lining their own pockets then excusing their theft by giving what they didn't steal to the lazy and indigent.

If a Brit may offer comment, the Daily Mail has a clear motive in attacking the UK Supreme Court Judges because they believe that the Brexit referendum should trump everything else. Some of us believe that there can be no real democracy without the rule of law.
