I question the idea that girls become strippers because of father issues. From my experience, economics drives their career choice more than psychology.
Seriously, I don't *get* why strippers/sexworkers make a big deal out of their Birthdays. Well yeah, I get it- they want to collect a material reward (tip, present) that they didn't have to work for.... what I really don't *get* is that I should have to give a rats ass about it anymore then I would for my mechanic or my accountant, etc....

It's the psych of easy money to a materialistic lifestyle. It's the strippers idea of fulfilling the American dream. They just don't want to take the hard path. For those few who delude themselves into needing stripper money to fund a degree in xyz, I will say you are stupid (lacking common sense). There is nothing taught in colleges that you cant learn on your own. If the degree is STEM and you are good enough you can easily get a loan. There are lots of students from Asia doing Masters and their families survive on a dollar a day. So accept that you are not good enough if you aren't. Or take a different path like Einstein.
Stop rationalizing that this is the only way. You do it because it pays easy money. Just that. Of course the PLs for being suckers in perennial crisis of emotional and sexual fulfillment but so are you. Be humble and the PLs will bestow you with enough money.
Never gave anything other than to my ATF and last CF. My ATF and I gave each other gifts for the usual occasions. Last "gift" I gave a stripper, a box of bandaids.
The clubs make a big deal of dancer birthdays; they get dances on stage from everyone and LOTS of tips from both customers, dancers and staff. Yes; it's a big deal. I used to give my ATF pot; it was a very appreciated gift!
I know for a fact, an old time agp fave of mine in Key West at at least two in the same year I was down there. She told me they often have them as so much ot the business are tourists, and the regulars know.
