Judge orders strip club to pay $8 million to family of victim in wrong-way I-480

Good. I tended bar for several years when I was in my twenties. I always took care to make sure my custies were not overserved. It's a judgement call, this guy was totally out of it, he should never have been let drive.

I was a bartender for 7 years and at his size he would need a lot of alcohol to blow a .265. Most of the bartenders I have seen at strip clubs have no idea about cutting people off or alcohol metabolic rates.. I assume that the cost is the delimiter and they don't worry about it. This falls under "Dram Shop" law and the club probably is liable if not the individual bartender. it will fall to whoever has more cash.
