There isn't a tax increase I think the democrats will rule out.
Trump wants to boost the economy by using tax cuts. Raising the standard deduction to 15000 for single people means I could buy more lap dances supporting more single mothers.

That will result in a drop of everyone's social security,Medicare payments they will receive by probably 20% or more so everyone will lose thousands in benefits come retirement age.
